Project Summary & Importance
This comprehensive project focused on advancing Inclusive Education and Technical & Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Jordan. The initiative aims to empower educators and educational supervisors to support students with disabilities in mainstream classrooms, as well as to bridge the gap between vocational training and market demands through structured apprenticeship models.
Beneficiaries & Stakeholders
- Primary Client: Ministry of Education (MoE), Department of Educational Supervision and Training, and Vocational Education Directorate — Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
- Funding & Support: Funded by the European Union (EU) via the Technical Assistance to Support Quality of Education and TVET in Jordan project.
Designed Materials & Deliverables
A cohesive, multi-publication training and policy package was designed, including:
- Programme Blueprint: High-level strategic framework for education planners.
- Teacher’s Learning Material: A comprehensive 5-unit self-study guide for teachers.
- Programme Handbook: Operational and assessment guide for teachers, principals, and supervisors.
- Facilitator’s Guide & Orientation Training Guide: Structured guides for supervisors conducting training and mentoring.
- Technical Reports & Leaflets: Policy documents on the Jordan Apprenticeship Model and project informational leaflets.
My Role as Graphic & Publication Designer
- Publication & Layout Design: Formatted and styled complex, multi-page educational manuals, policy blueprints, and reports into clean, highly structured, and readable layouts.
- Visual Information Hierarchy: Created clear visual structures utilizing customized activity boxes, callout cards, step-by-step icons, tables, and color-coded sections to facilitate self-study and training moderation.
- Branding & Identity Alignment: Ensured strict adherence to official branding guidelines, incorporating government and donor logos (Jordanian Coat of Arms, European Union flag and disclaimers) cleanly across print-ready covers and inner layouts.
- Pre-Press & Print Preparation: Prepared print-ready files (high-resolution PDFs, precise margins, full-bleed assets) ensuring flawless transition from digital designs to physical booklets and leaflets.
